Apex – UOL Degree Show – 2016
Apex (noun) - The highest point of achievment, a climax. This is what the 3 years of my undergrad course has been leading to. The next posts will be dedicated to my progress from now until the opening of the show, sharing images and ideas of work and images of the space as it transforms from studio to pop-up art gallery. A daunting task ahead but im looking forward to seeing the finished product.
My work has taken a new direction
Although my use of wordplay and humour remains, the medium through which i express my work has changed, in previous works i have used object and titles as directives whereas now i am focusing on purely words. I present on whiteboards and change them daily, the things i write are purely gibberish, but it is interesting to see viewers attempt to interpret them.
This is new.
Created a blog to document my work and my thoughts for my final semester.
